PERSONAL

The “Short Version” of how she got into this business.  After growing up on the Iron Range and attending Moorhead State University for two years of accounting, she worked for Jennie O Foods in Willmar on the “further processing line” and then Stearns Manufacturing loading semi-trailers.  She then enrolled at the St. Cloud Technical College where she graduated, at the top of her class, with a degree in land surveying and civil engineering technician. JoyGenea has a wide variety of experience and is passionate about her interests.  As an employee of MnDot, she worked on a survey crew and as a snowplow operator during the winter months.  In 2001, she pursued her desire to become part of an emergency response team by becoming a first responder/fire fighter.  After several years of working at MnDot and a private survey firm, JoyGenea became interested in becoming a Professional Organizer.  She successfully completed courses offered by NAPO and the NSGCD to be at the top of her field. In 2006, she opened Organized and Inspired Solutions by JoyGenea, succinctly and accurately describing her purpose to clients. Since then, JoyGenea has been effectively inspiring individuals and businesses to organize, streamline, and uncomplicate their lives.  While building her organizing business she has always sought to be on the front edge of technology and new marketing trends.  As time and technology have evolved, her marketing systems, tactics and skills have made her a valuable asset to small businesses looking to expand into new web based technologies.  In 2014, she took training in explainer video creation and continues to expand that division of her business, adding white board video creation in 2015.
